Mumbai: 70 booked for protest over school fees – Times of India

MUMBAI: Over 70 persons, including parents and political party workers, were booked on Tuesday for assembling in large numbers for a protest at a Kandivli (E) school, flouting social distancing norms.
No arrest was made. Police said they had gathered on the premises of a prominent school at Thakur Complex for a discussion and to protest over school fees. “More than 50 people are not permitted to assemble in one location, least of all at a school, according to rules in force since the outbreak of the pandemic,,” said a police officer.
