Maharashtra government extended the lockdown till June 30 in the entire state on Sunday, and announced the easing of restrictions and phase-wise resumption of activities under the ‘Mission Begin Again’.
All markets, market areas, and shops, except malls, will be allowed to function from June 5 on an odd-even basis as per the revised guidelines.
Here’s a region-wise complete list of what’s allowed and not allowed
> In Municipal Corporation areas of Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad
Allowed: Taxi, cab, rickshaw, four-wheelers, two-wheelers (only for essentials, movement of medical emergencies, medicals, OPDs, industries (essential), Urban in-situ construction, a supply of goods, markets/shops (from June 5), essential goods shops, E-Commerce (essential as well as non-essential). Private offices can operate with just 10 per cent strength returning to workplaces from June 8. For government offices, 15 per cent or 15 whichever is higher, will be permitted to operate from offices. Sub Registrar, RTO, Banks and Finance, courier, postal, outdoor activities, home delivery from restaurants, electricians, plumbers, garages, workshops will be permitted.
Not allowed: Air, train, metro travel; inter-state road movement, inter-district plying of bus, intra-district plying of bus, educational institutions, hotels, places of worship and large gathering, shopping malls, barber shops, spas, saloons.
> In remaining areas
Allowed: Taxi, cab, rickshaw, four-wheelers (1+2) two-wheelers (1), intra-district plying of bus, movement of medical emergencies, medicals, OPDs, agricultural activities, industries (both urban and rural), Urban in-situ construction, the supply of goods, markets/shops (from June 5), essential goods shops, E-Commerce (essential as well as non-essential), Private offices, Government offices (100 per cent), Sub Registrar, RTO, Banks and Finance, courier, postal, outdoor activities, home delivery from restaurants, electricians, plumbers, garages, workshops.
Not allowed: Air, train, metro travel; inter-state road movement, inter-district plying of bus, educational institutions, hotels, places of worship and large gathering, shopping malls, barber shops, spas, saloons.
> In Containment zones:
Allowed: Movement of medical emergencies, the supply of goods, essential goods shops
Except what’s mentioned above, nothing else will be permitted in containment zones
> Outdoor activities (From June 3)
Permitted: Individual physical exercises like cycling, jogging, running, walking will be permitted on public open spaces including beaches, public, private playgrounds, grounds belonging to societies, institutions, gardens, and promenades between 5 am to 7 pm.
“People are actively encouraged to use cycling as a form of physical exercise as it automatically ensures social distancing,” reads the notification.
Not permitted: No group activity will be permitted. No other activity is permitted. Long distance travel will not be permitted.
